My psychiatrist informed me of the possible health benefits for mood (depression) and anticancer properties believed to be associated with vitamin D3 so I've started taking 1000mg a day along with my meds. We'll see if there is a noticeable difference.

i have been taking vitamin D for a while off and on and i would definitely say that it helps, along with omega 3-6-9 and multivitamin.

if your on a ssri - i suggest taking calcium with the vitamin D
Calcium because the ssri may cause osteoporosis - and the vitamin D helps the absorption of calcium -

Vitamin D is good for health benefits. If you are patient of depression, You take suggestion from your family doctor. They suggest you about D3vitamins, may be it is good for health.
